The Little Prince
The
Little Prince forgot that he was a prince and started the life of a grown-up in
an adult hectic and commercial world. He got stuck in a mundane routine work as
a cleaner and was afraid of losing his position. His boss was a slave driver.
The Little Prince lost self-confidence and faith. He had to meet someone with a
child’s imagination and heart who could help him to awake his memories and
discover once again his own roots. I am writing about Mark OSBORNE last
adaptation of the Antoine de Saint-Exupery poetical story about friendship The
Little Prince from 1943.
Each
of us was once a child and we have probably met - at least once - Little
Prince who dreamt to meet a friend. There must be at least one
friend in our life – someone like Rose that we should look after. We
should take particular care not to allow the friendship to fizzle out. When you
leave your friend on a lonely planet, they may feel desolated and dropped.
They will hesitate if you still take care of them. If you stop, probably a
shadow of doubt will cover the joy of your friendship. That is why it is
important to learn to see with your heart. One should start to look with a heart.
During
our life journey, we meet a bunch of people from different places - ‘planets’
with different life goals and aims. However, when we meet someone who is close
to our heart, we should look after them and send them a short message
from time to time, we should tell them how important they are for
us otherwise they might disappear in this universe. The created precious bonds
require watering and sun. In time of crisis it is a real challenge to restore
the withering friendship.
