Pandora's Box

For without feeling sorrow, extreme disappointment, despair, misery, misfortune and pain nobody would have searched hope. Because of this there is a need for a grain of hope. In other words it is unavoidable and it started so early on the Earth.

Many years ago, incidentally, a mythical Pandora - a goddess - was given a beautiful box which she was not to open under any circumstance. However, she was extremely curious and could not resist. Eventually she opened the box-jar. All evil contained escaped. Threatened she managed to close the lid, but the whole contents of the jar had escaped, except Hope.

If we can keep on hoping, things can be different.
